Chopped onion | 1/2 cup |
Chopped Bell pepper | 2 tablespoons |
Green peas | 1/4 cup |
Chopped tomatoes | 1/4 cup |

Cumin seeds | 1/2 teaspoons |
Lemon juice | 1/2 tablespoon |
Water | 2 cups |
Turmeric powder | 1/4 tablespoon |
Green chilies | 1 teaspoon |
Cilantro | 1/2 tablespoons |
Salt | 1/3 teaspoon |
Oil | 2 tablespoons |
Cooking
- Step 1
Put oil in a pan, once oil hot, add cumin seeds and when they start crackling, add onion and green chilies, saute for 2 minutes.

Now add tomatoes, when tomatoes get mushy, add all the chopped vegetables and stir well.

Now add turmeric powder saute a little bit then add oats and salt and mix well.

Now add water n stir it. cover with a lid and let it cook for around 5 minutes in low to medium heat.

check the desired consistency. turn off the gas and add lemon juice, cilantro.
Serving
Serve delicious Oat upma with the decoration of green peas and chopped cilantro.
