Ingredients

Item Quantity
Murmura 4 -5 Cups
Peanuts 1 Cup
Corn flakes 1.5 Cups
Curry leaves 8-10 Pieces
Chaat masala 1 Teaspoon
Red chili Powder 1 Teaspoon
Turmeric Powder 1/4 Teaspoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon (as per taste)
Methi seeds    1/2 teaspoon
Cumin Seeds    1/2 teaspoon
Dry mango powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Vegetable Oil 1-2 Cups for deep fry

 

Cooking
  • Step 1

Heat the pan and add oil. When heats up, fry corn flakes into medium heat.

  • Step 2

In that same pan fry the peanuts. (if you want you can dry roast the peanuts).

  • Step 3

Heat up a big pan, add 2-4 tablespoons oil, add murmura, roast them until they get crisp. Now take them out.

  • Step 4

Heat up a big pan put 2-3 teaspoons of oil, add cumin seeds, curry leaves, turmeric powder. Let those splatter then add murmura, peanuts, cornflakes, mix all these materials. Now you can sprinkle chaat masala, salt, dry mango powder, and mix everything well. And Murmura Namkeen is ready.

You can enjoy Murmura Namkeen any time of day as a light snack or you can enjoy it as a side along with any meal of the day.
