Cooking

Heat a deep-fry pan and add oil to it. Once the oil gets hot, add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Let mustard seeds splatter.

After splattering, add onions, green chilies, bell peppers, and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Once the onions have turned translucent, add the garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes, or until the pepper is soft.

Add turmeric powder, lemon juice, rice, and salt, and mix everything nicely. Let it cool slightly and add peanuts. Your Lemon Rice is ready to serve.
