Corn bhel is super quick to prepare and a delicious snack. You can prepare it in just a few minutes and serve it alongside evening tea or coffee.

Ingredients

Corns 1 cup
Onion 1/2 Cup
Tomatoes 1/4 Cup
Cilantro 1/4 Cup
Lemon Juice 1 Teaspoon
Black Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Chaat Masala 1/2 Teaspoon
Red Chili Powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Nylon Sev 1/4 Cup
Crushed Paapadi 1/2 Cup
Finely Chopped Green Chili 1/2 Teaspoon
Green Chutney 2 Tablespoons
Red Sweet Tamarind Chutney 3 to 4 Tablespoons
Small chunks of raw mango 1/4 Cup
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon(as per taste)

Cooking
  • Step 1

Boil the corn until it is soft. Let them cool.

  • Step 2

Take a large mixing bowl. First, add the corn, then all the chopped vegetables. Mix them.

  • Step 3

Add all the dry spices and chutneys, and mix everything well. Add crushed papadis just before serving; otherwise, they will become soggy.

Serving

Garnish the Corn Bhel with nylon sev before serving. Corn bhel can be enjoyed as a snack or paired with evening tea or coffee.
