Put oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, add the cumin seeds, and when they start to crackle, add the onion and green chilies. Saute for 2 minutes.

Now add tomatoes. When the tomatoes get mushy, add all the chopped vegetables and stir well.

Now, add turmeric powder, sauté for a little while, then add oats and salt, and mix well.

Now add water and stir it. Cover with a lid and let it cook for around 5 minutes on low to medium heat.

check the desired consistency. Turn off the gas and add lemon juice and cilantro.
