Ingredients

Item Quantity
Chopped Onion 1/4 Cup
Saboodana 1 Cup
Roasted Peanuts 1/4 Cup
Chopped Tomatoes 1/4 Cup
Chopped Green Chilies 2-3
Potatoes (cut into small pieces) 1/4 Cup
Chopped Ginger 2 Tablespoons
Chopped Cilantro 1/4 Cup
Cumin Seeds 1/2 Teaspoon
Turmeric Powder a pinch
Vegetable oil 3 tablespoons
Salt 1 teaspoon

 

Preparation

Soak Sabudana in the water for at least two hours.

Shallow fry the potatoes.

Cooking
  • Step 1

Heat oil in a pan. When it heats, add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Then, add ginger and green chilies and fry them until they are light golden brown.

  • Step 2

Add a pinch of turmeric powder, sauté for a little while, then add the tomatoes. Sauté for 2 minutes. Don't let them pulpy.

  • Step 3

Add sabudana, salt, and lemon juice, mix all together, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.

Serving

Garnish with cilantro and peanuts, and it's ready to serve.
